Candidate Comment

Hi. I hope that you cast a vote on the 7th.
I would appreciate your vote.

I grew up in Danvers and went through the school system. I graduated in 1973. I experienced the portable classrooms at the Junior High and double sessions at the High School.

I moved back to Danvers a year ago. It is a dream come true for me. My wife and I have a six year old daughter who is a student at Thorpe School.

Previous to returning to Danvers, my family resided in Bradford where I was a member of the home owners association at Persimmon Wood. It is important to me to be involved in my community.

Danvers is still growing. With the many 40b permits, the school population will grow. The children of this town are our future. It is up to us to make this the best place possible for them to live.

One of the things I feel strongly about is the school project as it was presented to the school commitee and selectman. We should invest in our children's future. I do not think a building makes for a better education necessarily, but on the other hand, the children themselves will have more pride in the school and feel that we care about them.

I would appreciate your vote and the opportunity to represent Precinct Six.
