Dear Precinct 7 voter,

I’m a long time resident and I’ve seen Danvers change immensely over the years, but it remains a great place to live. We face a number of challenges over the next few years and with your help, I'd like to join the decision-making process. Foremost will be the construction/reconstruction of the junior and senior high schools. We need to carefully examine ALL funding options, but the bottom line is: we need a better physical environment for our junior and senior high students. I support moving forward with the design process before the construction funding is decided. I am a taxpayer and therefore have no great desire to see a debt exclusion but if, after careful study, that remains the only option, I will support it. Other important issues are the development of new water sources and the control of suburban sprawl. Hopefully, we can move into the future but maintain that old "Danvers" feel.
