Candidate Comment

I would like to ask for your support in my bid for re-election as a Town Meeting member in Precinct 4. I will support a reasonable plan to fund the design phase of the High School/Middle School building renovations being requested by the School Committee. I believe the Town must move forward with providing the youth of Danvers with adequate school facilities and will support a well thought out plan that balances our ability to pay and the need to educate our children.

During my sixteen years as a Town Meeting member I have rarely missed a Finance Committee budget hearing or Town Meeting session. I pledge to continue to attend appropriate meetings to stay well informed and to cast my vote at Town Meeting in the best interest of our neighborhood and town.

Treasurer of The Committee to Build the Police Station in 1976

Trustee of the Peabody Institute Library from 1976 to 1982. I was a trustee during the planning and actual renovation and addition to the Library)

Member of the Danvers Conservation Commission from 1981 to 1985

Long time member of The Friends of the Peabody Institute Library

Long time member of The Friends of Endicott Park

Active in the Boy Scouts of America. Over the past 18 years I have served as a Troop Committee Chairman, Scoutmaster, Council Camping Committee Chairman, and Council Vice President. Currently, I am a member of the Yankee Clipper Council Executive Board.
