My name is Peter Wilson, I am a candidate for Town Meeting in Precinct 6. I live at 130 North St. with my wife Debbie and our 3 children. Alex is a sixth grader at the Dunn Middle School while Maura and Craig attend the Smith School.

We are active volunteers for; Danvers American Little League, Danvers Girls Softball, Hot Shots Basketball, Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts, Cub Scouts, Smith and Dunn School PAC, DEEP, and St. Richards Religious Education. I hope to extend this spirit of volunteerism by serving as your Town Meeting Member.

We chose to move here 12 years ago based on Danvers' reputation for good schools and a well run municipal government. We have not been disappointed. We have been impressed with the quality of our schools and the many services the town offers. More importantly, we have been impressed with the sense of community that we have found here.

I want to make sure that these traits of our fine town are passed along to future generations. As a Town Meeting Member I intend to support the High School/Middle School Project, upgrades to our water system and measures that will limit development and preserve open space.

Please take the time to vote in our May 7th elections, it is a right we should never take for granted.
